The TriLakes are a chain of three lakes in
Mecosta, Michigan - located just over an hour north of Grand Rapids
just south of M-20 in the center of the "Heart of the Lakes"
area of Central Michigan. The
Tri-lakes include Round Lake, Blue Lake
and Lake Mecosta.
wildlife filled channels connect the three lakes for a total of
700 acres of sparkling spring fed water. The Trilakes
are all-sports lakes with depths up to 40 feet. Days can be
filled tubing, skiing,wakeboarding and swimming or by venturing
over to Blue Lake to play on Party Island.
The lakes are No-wake from 7:30 pm to 11:00 am
for quiet mornings and evenings. Wake to the call of the
Loons and peacefull tranquility of the glistening water.
Mornings and evenings are great for fishing, kayaking or a leisurely pontoon
ride along the waters edge. Wildlife includes swans, cranes, ducks,
geese, and bald eagle. Deer can be seen at the waters edge as well. Bring
your camera for outstanding photographic opportunites including wildlife
and beautiful sunrise and sunsets.
A public boat launch is located on the south
east end of Lake Mecosta. The launch is a cement surface
ramp with sufficient water depth to accommodate all trailorable
watercraft. Launch area has 22 parking spaces.
